Shooting when the temperature is -35°C can be tough, as I had to take off my gloves and, after few minutes, my fingers became insensitive. I had to get back into the car in order to feel the blood flow again in my hands.

Bus stop

One day, we stopped in the middle of nowhere for a cup of hot coffee from our coffee tank in the trunk of our car. While we were having our coffee and shivering in the freezing cold, I saw a small brick building next to the road. Suddenly a person came out of the building and moved a few steps in the snow. The building was a bus stop and that person was just waiting for the bus ... in the middle of nowhere! So I realized that: what is an adventure for you, for other people is their everyday's life.

Snowstorm

While we were driving on a road completely covered with ice in central Kazakhstan, I saw two creatures trying to resist the strong wind gusts: two horses, maybe a mare with her foal, exposed to the harsh winter elements. There was nothing around, so I don't know where they came from, but it was amazing to see how they could stand the snowstorm.
